The Swedish artist Jonas Arvidsson has taken on a project as ambitious as it is aesthetically appealing: He wants to record bridges photographically from underneath in their entirety. For this, he makes use of a sophisticated panorama photography technique, which unites the individual pictures in a whole and creates the impression that the individual bridges were built over glass foundations, from underneath which the miraculous pictures were taken. It goes without saying that difficult hurdles had to be overcome in creating the pictures, such as the use of a second pontoon bridge.
